Forgiveness Principles from a Reiki Master

Over time, through healing myself, supporting clients, and working with professionals, I developed a list, a ten point framework. The statements guide me back to peace whenever I say them out loud or write them in my journal and/or meditate on them. I hope they can offer you a single moment of comfort, clarity and peace. 

1. Forgiveness is realizing your worth and choosing your own healing energy, a return to your natural vibration, the one your soul remembers. It’s the moment your heart chakra softens, your aura brightens, and your energy fields finally breathe again.

2. Forgiveness is accepting everyone has a backstory. It’s emotional intelligence paired with Reiki wisdom, reading the energy, not just the moment, and choosing compassion that keeps your heart chakra open.

3. Forgiveness is honouring the light in you and the light in those around you - this is true spiritual growth. 

4. Forgiveness is loving yourself. It's coming home to YOU and your big, beautiful heart. 

5. Forgiveness is releasing fear and choosing love - resetting your nervous system. This allows trauma healing. 

6. Forgiveness is raising your vibration because being in a state of high vibration is healing for real.  

7. Forgiveness is seeing clearly. It is removing the drama filter and protecting your boundaries. No overthinking here! 

9. Forgiveness is releasing other people's mistakes and negativity so that they don't live rent-free in your mind. 

10. Forgiveness is loving without draining yourself. Your heart energy needs to be sustained with energy balance.
