Reiki-Inspired Morning Meditation

Start your day with positive enjoy - enjoy this Reiki-inspired morning meditation and #letitgowithreiki  

  1. Find a Quiet Space: Begin by finding a quiet and comfortable place where you won’t be disturbed.
  2. Settle In: Sit or lie down in a comfortable position. Close your eyes and take a few deep belly breaths to center yourself.
  3. Intention Setting: Silently set your intention for the day. It could be a word or a short phrase that embodies how you want to feel or what you wish to achieve.
  4. Hand Positions: Place your hands gently on your body. Common positions include on your heart, stomach, or wherever you feel needs attention. We suggest you place your right hand on your stomach, your left on your heart but do whatever feels natural to you. 
  5. Breathing: Focus on your breath. Inhale through your nostrils imagining a bright light or energy entering your body, filling you with vitality and peace. Exhale slowly through your nostrils, releasing any stress or tension.
  6. Energy Flow: Visualize Reiki energy flowing through your hands into your body. Imagine this energy as a healing light, bringing balance and harmony to your mind, body, and spirit.
  7. Gratitude: Take a moment to feel gratitude for the new day, for your body, and for the energy that sustains you.
  8. Gentle Return: When you’re ready, slowly bring your awareness back to the room. Wiggle your fingers and toes, stretch if needed, and gently open your eyes.
  9. Seal the Practice: Conclude your meditation by placing your palms together in front of your heart in Gassho position, bowing your head slightly, and thanking yourself for taking this time for Reiki self-care.

Remember to listen to your body and intuition throughout the meditation. If at any point something doesn’t feel right, adjust your practice accordingly. Enjoy your meditation! 🌅
