Let’s be real: life is loud. Notifications, expectations, trauma, grind culture. Sometimes the most healing thing you can do is step back and exhale.
In Reiki, that exhale?
That’s called the flow.

What Is the Flow in Reiki?
The flow is when your energy (aka life force frequency) moves freely through your body without resistance.
According to Reiki principles:
- Energy naturally wants to balance itself
- Blockages happen when emotions, stress, or trauma get stored instead of released
- Reiki restores flow by raising your frequency and clearing stagnant energy
High frequency = clarity, calm, alignment
Low or blocked frequency = stress, fatigue, emotional loops

What Does a Blocked Chakra Look Like IRL?
Blocked energy doesn’t look “woo.”
It looks like everyday burnout.
Examples of Blocked Flow:
- Heart chakra blocked → overgiving, emotional walls, trust issues
- Throat chakra blocked → people-pleasing, fear of speaking up
