Whether you're a student, a busy professional, or someone with special needs, there's a planner out there that can help you stay on track. Let's explore some popular options and find the best fit for our unique requirements.

Daily Planners

Best for: Students, teachers, and anyone with a packed schedule.

Features: Hourly breakdowns, to-do lists, and extra features like budgeting spots and pockets.

Example: Day Designer Planner - Split into two columns for your to-do list and schedule, with extra features for budgeting and notes. I like the BlueLine day planner, it's lightweight and I don't find I need the added features of an address book, etc. that all looks really pretty but just weighs down my carry-on when I'm off to a meeting. Take care of those shoulders and neck!!

Weekly Planners

Best for: Professionals who need a broader view of their week.

Features: Weekly layouts with space for goals, tasks, and notes.

Example: Self Journal by BestSelf Co. - Designed for goal tracking, with tasks and templates to help you complete targets in smaller chunks.

Monthly Planners

Best for: Those who prefer a monthly overview of their schedule.

Features: Monthly calendars with space for important dates and events.

Example: Blue Sky 2025 Weekly Monthly Appointment Book and Planner - Simple monthly layout with tabbed pages for easy reference.

I like to add a large desk planner to support my social media scheduling where I can see the month at a glance and know when to hit you all up with a new blog! Thanks for reading, all.

Special Needs Planners

Best for: Individuals with ADHD, autism, or learning disabilities.

Features: Customizable pages, visual aids, behavior management systems, and communication logs.

Example: Special Education Planners by The School Planner Company - Includes IEP information, progress trackers, and student support network information. A lot of the design programs offer you an opportunity to build your own planner. Canva has calendar lay-outs.

Pocket-Sized Planners

Best for: Frequent travelers or those who prefer a compact option. My Seniors tuck these calendars into their front pocket and note their next Reiki session.

Features: Mini-sized with weekly calendar templates and monthly calendars.

Example: Harbor Pocket Weekly Planner - Elegant mini-sized planner with a placeholder ribbon and weekly calendar templates. There is alot of these also available at the dollar store making them super affordable.

Customizable Planners

Best for: Those who want a planner tailored to their specific needs.

Features: Modular designs, refillable options, and customizable layouts.

Example: Agendio Planner - Highly customizable with colorful pages and various layouts. Perfect gift for the budding graphic designer!

Choosing the right planner is all about understanding your needs and preferences. Take some time to explore different options and find the one that resonates with you.  Happy planning! 📅✨
