Turkey Tom Comes to Thanksgiving Dinner Story

🦃🍁 Thanksgiving Day 🍁🦃

Once upon a time, there was a turkey named Tom 🦃 who was very clever. He knew Thanksgiving was coming and didn’t want to end up on the dinner table! 🍽️

Tom decided to disguise himself as a human 🤠. He put on a hat 🎩, glasses 👓, and even a fake moustache 🥸. He walked into the house and joined the family for dinner 🍽️.

Everyone was so busy preparing the feast 🍗🥧 that they didn’t notice Tom was a turkey! They all sat down to eat, and Tom was feeling pretty proud of himself 😎.

But then, the family dog 🐶 sniffed him out! The dog started barking 🐕, and Tom panicked 😱. He ran around the house, knocking over the mashed potatoes 🥔 and cranberry sauce 🍇.

The family finally realized what was happening and burst into laughter 😂🤣. They decided to spare Tom and let him join the family as a guest every Thanksgiving 🥳.

From that day on, Tom the turkey 🦃 became the star of Thanksgiving, and he never had to worry about being dinner again! 🎉

This story was inspired by my grandson who asked when I tucked him into bed the other night, "Have you ever done Reiki on a turkey, Nanny?" To which I answered, "no, but next time one is on my table I'll invite him to join us for dinner!"
